Has anyone ever left their job w/o the 'required' 2 week notice??
I know we're kind of programmed to think that we need to give advance notice incase you need them for a reference, etc. but have you ever just quit? Did you regret it?
I REALLY cannot stand my job anymore and I don't think I'll last another 2 weeks....

How did you go about it? Did you do it professionally? Or was it an elaborate hurrah?!
No judgment either way, just interested in hearing some stories 😉

Yes I have When they try to drop your pay rate know your worth in the work place ,job site , office,

Have you ever had enough of a job and just decided one day to quit but in legendary fashion? Asking because a Burger King in Lincoln, Nebraska had their entire crew quit in spectacular fashion. And before we think that they were spoiled, think again, this is from the General Manager of the store, "Flores [the GM} said the restaurant is short staffed and she would end up working 50 to 60 hours a week. She said at one point they did not have working air conditioning in the kitchen, where temperatures reached 90 degrees. Flores had to go to the hospital after becoming dehydrated." That sounds like a dedicated staff that in the end was just fed up with being treated like a commodity and not as human beings. #foodservice #jobsearch #quit

These Burger King employees had it their way, and quit due to poor working conditions. Watch this video. #quit #foodservices

What happened, and why did you #quit?

Yes, KFC.

No, never

Hi my name is James. I worked for a company for 4 years and was doing a good job regardless of how things went. I wanted to become an assistant manager so I asked but they said no I wasnt qualified for it, after that they just kept me in the dark for the job. I know I needed more experience, but isn't it a manager's job supposed to teach you the ropes of the ASM. Anyways, I've seen new people come in for 2-4 months of working and automatically there a manager with no experience just favoritism. I opened/set up other stores I was the only one who was doing that. So that's my story. PS: sorry for the explaination I don't know how to write things correctly.

Interesting little article claiming the 1 reason people quit is when they feel disrespected. Have you quit an employer before? If so, why? What advice would you give to a fellow Jobcaser who is thinking about quitting today?
