To land a job at #CountyofLosAngeles I would make sure to...

The County of Los Angeles is very political with deceptive individuals, even in management, and in some areas, racist. Know an individual very well on and off the job before trusting them. Always keep personal and family affairs private. Doing a job well won't guarantee your position, nor having good performance ratings, nor allow transfer, or promotion. If you are fortunate to work with a good group of people that are trustworthy, its best to stay with them. #termination #advice #relocation

Hello all I hope this finds you well despite our current status Just know that this awful pandemic cannot atop you from planning Is there anyone here from GA? I want to relocate, preferably to either Lawrenceville, Buford or Suwanee. Does anyone have insight to affordable apartments in those areas? (but not limited to) I will be working for my current employer Delaware North Companies (DNC) as GA is now open for business I know that DNC is now preparing for business as well

Any insight into apartment hunting would be greatly appreciated

Thank you all and take care and stay safe #staystrong #applications #housing #relocation #newlife

My restaurant that I work for closed. We are only open for take out so the manager cut my hours so much that I barely was working at all. I had to move back home with my parents. I feel so ashamed.

I relocated for a job because it promised me better pay and better perks ( like housing). I was told the company apartment wasn't ready yet and they couldn't give me a date yet. I take the job and become homeless while waiting for the apartment to be ready. I am now told I can't have the apartment because someone else still lives there and the company doesn't want to do anything about it...

Yes. The other employees and managers, were all great. The customers were always happy to see me come to their home and clean their furniture and carpet. Quite a few customers were sad to hear that I was moving back to Kansas
