I'm telling you the truth...(A Timely Message For You.)

Don't miss this principle, no matter what others may say!

I've seen people go from "Dirt to DYNASTY" because they stretched (7) hidden aspects in their life: They extended their...

  1. Measure of faith.
  2. Height to hope.
  3. Sight to vision.
  4. Thrust to Trust.
  5. Higher to Highest.
  6. Attitude to Altitude.
  7. Probability to Possibility.

Listen, all I'm asking you to do is...Trust Yourself, then, Extend Yourself, then, follow your softly spoken dream of greatness within.

Then, (as illustrated below) as you measure it and build it, (your dream) your vision will come to fruition...they will come!

Then, everything else will fall-in-place.

I Believe You Can...!

Honestly, I love helping people climb the corporate ladder. Yikes! It's me that's in the "Dog House" at least until the next pay day.

I have been unemployed for a month now. How do people deal with the uncertainty? What do they do during the day? How do they deal with not having income? I suffer from a horrible anxiety disorder so I am eaten up by this all the time. #unemployed

Jesse,

Being unemployed can be stressful and the anxiety from not working makes things worse because life is still moving fast.

The best ways to help with the reality of unemployment and your anxiety is to keep yourself busy doing various things in between job seeking. You can even volunteer to gain experience and network yourself to companies, people that may be able to help introduce you to new job opportunities. Additionally, help you discover what you want or like to do that you'd want to do as a job.

However, sitting around won't help your mind. It won't help work towards controlling your anxiety, so you have to be proactive in your personal life just as you are in a professional one to keep yourself motivated, and your mind strong consistently. There are many companies hiring but the interviewing/hiring processes are much lengthier these days because the competition has grown from those that have lost employment due to the pandemic. Life is very challenging, very trying and it's hard for many people. Focus on what you can control rather than what you cannot control.

Focus on what, if any improvements you can make that call help you in obtaining employment. Stay proactive as much as possible.

Best.

I have been a work at home agent for over 2yrs now and my company praised me on a Thursday and gave me $1.75 raise based on performance. Sounds awesome- right? Then, they turned around the VERY NEXT day and up and FIRED me!! When I asked WHY I was being fired, the only response I received was 'state of residence is an "At-Will" state. Meaning, you can be hired/fired or quit the job with NO Repercussions. i was devastated and now i am fully aware of the true meaning when the phrase "here today & gone tomorrow" is used.
Now I am desperately trying to find another real legitimate work from home position. #termination

After actively seeking job leads, I interviewed with a healthcare institution set up by a job agency. The interview was virtual, and it went great. I left knowing that I did a great interview. I was so excited I reached out to the recruiter and told them how I did. On a scale of 0-10, I told them I would rate the interview a 10. The recruiter shared my excitement as well. She said she would reach out to the person who interviewed me to follow up. Unfortunately, later that day, I received an email from my recruiter saying that I did not get a job offer. The person words were, "I needed someone with more experience using Epic."

For all my individuals who work in healthcare or do non-clinical work should know about Epic. When the interviewer asked me if I had experience using Live Epic, I told them, "yes" I have used Epic but not the live version. My previous company had employees access it through a link on the computer. It was already downloaded. When I told the interviewer that, they didn't seem concerned. So, I thought that it was okay that I was honest. Because I have experience with the platform. So why did they not want to hire me because I didn't use the live version? I have no clue. At any point, after I told the interviewer about my experience with Epic, they should have stated their concerns or asked for clarification of my using the software. Instead, they just assumed the access link didn't work the same way the Live version does. This was a huge letdown, and I'm very conflicted about whether I should have just said yes and not given the interviewer unnecessary details. Because it cost me the job. #interview #advice #followup #healthcare #hr #jobsearch #remote #jobagency #staffingagency #unemployed #nonclinical #denial #refusal #interviewmistakes

Came across a not-so-new type of job scam. Hurts my heart to see when someone does fall for something similar. The other day I had time to burn as I was awaiting a real call back from a job I had interviewed for a week ago so why not see where this all goes. But a person texts my phone from a weird out-of-state number saying that they saw my resume on the workintexas.com website from someone claiming the name Linda Esquibel. Figured I would see what it was about considering I am currently looking for a job to work from home.
They started off claiming that they worked for Omada Healthcare. Referring me to another hiring manager that claimed his name was Marco Franco user tag for discord: Marco Franco#1182 for anyone who gets a text or email from these people). Where the first red flag was "Hey do you have Discord?" Knowing that I do have an account, I promptly told them No to see what they were trying to do. Well needless to say they wanted to hold the interview via Discord chat (1st red flag). Used my alternate discord account to see how it would pan out. Needless to say, they were quick to respond and ask me several questions and give me their version of what the position would be that they felt I would be a great asset to them. At the end of the conversation when I grew tired of the bull that they were trying to feed, the guy got super aggressive with wanting me to give all my information (2nd red flag) as we are almost 30 minutes into me feeding into the bull. My counter to him asking was, well most hiring managers will refer back to the resume for the additional information that they are looking for. As far as my banking information, that is never asked during an interview let alone a privacy act violation so no I do not feel comfortable relating any of this information considering that would be an HR type of thing (3rd red flag).
In the end, told him I knew it was a scam and had seen this on a similar basis from another friend, blocked him, reported him to the Work Source, sent into the actual company addressing that a scammer was using the companies name. The Omada company did get back to me and told me that there have been a lot of recent scams in their name. People have told them that the scammers are asking for money for equipment or sending a bogus check for the unfortunate soul to put in their account and then wipe them of all their funds.
Be aware that interviews are not done through any messenger apps and if they do interview you it will be through a secure online portal that they will send you through or the regular phone interview. But just in case someone else comes across something like this you have been updated on the new tactics they are trying to use to get money out of people. #scam #unemployed #jobscam
