What is the most challenging aspect of working in a warehouse? 🤔
For me, it was meeting safety and performance standards. I feel those two elements conflict with each other.
Safety can slow performance down, while high performance can violate safety regulations.

Tips for studying while working full-time in a warehouse
Here’s a brief YouTube video on some advice for studying while working full-time in a warehouse. 📚
From my own personal experience I was able to achieve two college degrees and two professional certifications while working 10 hour shifts 6 days a week on the graveyard shift. ✅
I worked from 9pm-7am and what I did was complete my assignments before I went to work. Getting off work and trying to complete anything was really exhausting so I studied when I was rested.
Till this day I only sleep 6 hours a day which really helps in giving me an additional two hours a day. It took me 5 years to achieve my credentials and graduate with a 3.86 GPA. 👨🎓
The most important advice have for you is create a schedule and be very militant and disciplined about your schedule. You have to make sacrifices with your social life. I can tell you it’s worth it and I have no regrets. ✅

A day in the life of an Amazon driver
Here’s a video of an Amazon delivery driver providing details of what his day is like delivering packages. 📦
Although this isn’t warehouse work, this position is connected directly to an Amazon warehouse. 🚐
Keep in mind, Amazon package delivery service are owned and operated by contractors and not by Amazon. So drivers don’t receive benefits such as Amazon’s tuition reimbursement program. 📚
These driving positions can be found on the Craigslist transportation section and they do offer full and part-time positions. They are fairly easy to land. ✅

One benefit I recommend taking advantage of is Amazon’s tuition reimbursement program. Employees at Amazon are eligible for their education program after 90 days of employment. The best part is you can choose from any career field that’s in high demand. 🏫

Uline Warehouse
Here’s a quick video of employees at Uline giving their take on what’s it’s like to work there. 🦺
From my past warehouse experience, I know Uline is one of the higher paying warehouse jobs. I applied there a long time ago and they did group interviews which I really didn’t enjoy. I’m not sure if they conduct group interviews anymore. I delivered to Uline a few months and their warehouse was very clean and well organized. I was really impressed on their set-up. 🧽
If you’re in the warehouse industry, I recommend applying at Uline. Any questions or concerns feel free to drop a comment. ⤵️
