Real Estate Career Choices for Seniors

At 60 years old I've had some great careers. I've got tenured experience and a plethora of skills but I'm still looking for that last great adventure that will be rewarding at my age and help me meet my goals for my "Golden Years." Retirement isn't really an option I'm looking forward to yet but I don't really want to put in the insane hours my GM career demands anymore. The pay is good and the spirit is willing but my body has objections. 😉

So, what's a good career for seniors that is interesting and you can apply your years of experience to? How about Real Estate? The more I research, the more intrigued I am. Apparently I had no clue that I was so much of a creative idealist ? See I have been sheltered for so long then I went through one terrible event after another and had been told all my life I was not worthy, that I didn’t have a specific talent or skill set, maybe that is true and it didn’t help that I am bipolar/AdHD/manic. But After my issues with life in general and my self medicating years my life dramatically changed for the better and I’m alive! And Its like I have been in a deep coma for years or something? I have ideas in the thousands! I have poetry and songs flowing out random like! I’m painting and drawing for the first time in my 53 years of life! And I’m good at it lol anyway if I had the connections, a good reputation, no police record, or the money to patent or copy write my ideas , songs jingles poetry, rap, new ingenuity for already made products I promise you I would be filthy rich, but I don’t, smh! I have worked as a Clinical Director, overseeing 3 programs within our Recovery Living Community. I was with the agency for 15 years and need a change, thinking something less supervisory but willing to discuss if right opportunity is out there, the whole job search on all this recurring search engines is a nightmare and the positions advertised seem to not exist, any suggestions? I am in Cabarrus County but was working near downtown Charlotte so commuting can still be an option.
