I loved working at Roller Kingdom because the people that I have to work with are so kind and loving there wasn’t one time I felt left out. We did everything together as a team we are one big family and we don’t let people put us down and we stuck together. If you get the chance to work there you won’t regret it !! #coworkers #shareyourthoughts #aboutmyjob

Christina, don't take it personal, when they promoted you you acquire certain responsibilities with the pay increase, of course there will be jealousy amongst your previous co-workers grow thicker skin and take it one day at a time simply doing your best as a human being should get your group straighten out. I have been through it myself and was quite difficult, faith and patience seems to work every time.

Store Manager at Walmart

How are doing now? I was in the exact position you are in. Even my immediate supervisor turned against me. I worked for a company for 27 years. I put my positives in the people who were willing to work with me. I followed the store operations and I was successful. I ended up having a major surgery and I found out there was so much more in our economy to offer. I’ve started working for another company and loving it!

I work at a hotel, and they recently opened a new restaurant in our same building. I spoke with the hiring manager at the restaurant about possibly working there part time, and he told me to bring him my resume and we could go from there. When I returned to work after my day off, my coworkers were being kind of rude, and making odd comments and laughing. Someone even tore my name badge off my storage cubical. I didn’t understand what was going on... until I found this:

By the front desk was the resume I had given to the restaurant manager, except it had ‘corrections’ written by my current manager all over it. And as I read it, the jokes my coworkers had been making suddenly made sense- they had read it too!

I’m so embarrassed and violated and hurt. I don’t know what to do.

Any advice? Thank you! #advice #management #bullying #resume #coworkers #discrimination #violation #privacy

so this coworker accused me of stealing the master keys to the place today and she started calling management and her bosses spreading lies and telling them that they should fire me and call the police without no evidence whatsoever . Turns out that the keys were misplaced by the janitor himself and were found later on . Can I file a report or press charges on her for defamation of character and falsely accusing me of stealing the keys ? #management #termination #interview #advice #legal #coworkers

I used to work at a Walmart warehouse in chino California and was cursed out by my trainer after I asked her to please not use that type of language towards me. She then continued to call me stupid and storm off after I told her I was done with the conversation and was going to hr. She had continued by retaliating against me by failing my overall observation test which made me start my whole training over again. After telling the hr manager Victoria she had said that she wouldn’t call it retaliation and didn’t file it. They continued to fire someone but instead of my trainer it was me. I would expect a bigger company to know better than finding loopholes to fire someone being harassed by their trainer. # #termination #management #coworkers #stressful

so you had a card and lost it ? so you applied for a replacement card. i lost my card and i got the replacement in two weeks. do you have one now, maybe you have to go in and show it to them. now if you were working there already with out proof of being documented. they should not have hired you to begin with. that is there mistake and would have gotten them in trouble for not doing so. were you paid under the table since you were not paying taxes. is the company trying to become legit, maybe they are already in trouble. what ever the case i would move on and find a new job.

So I work for a pretty large network, akin to a government facility so there are lots of people i have worked with and met over the 3 years working here part time: Im 23 and just graduated from college and am more looking for full time positions. My former head supervisor was an amazing women like a second mother, truly a nurture and she taught me so much in the 2 years we worked together, sadly she left in July. Her second in command is about 27/28 and can into the scene about same time and so we have all worked together for 2 years. With my supervisor leaving her next in command was into her position, leaving a full time opening. I applied for this. Prior to applying I have applying to several over job openings in the network and not heard much back. As the change of command has shifted so has the relationship with my boss. It is as if she has become on the lookout for my mistakes. At one I was discussing life and living and she makes a comment about how I am a “child” and how I “ can’t even get an apartment” mind you I work part time, and she said this with all seriousness. On another point she texted me saying she would be writing me up because I didn’t not clock in or out and it would result in a suspension, even though I was not working. Also she made a comment about how she had not seen anything impressive in the time she has worked with me, and how despite most it being covid and things being shut down for a lot of the time we worked together. It was as if the only thing she could see was my age and my mistakes when she looks at me. At one point she mentioned how, “whenever she sees me doing nothing she’s going to make note for my evaluation”. Of which thankfully a higher supervisor sat in with. I have started to send weekly email reports with all the things in the week I accomplished in order to show her my part in this job since she chooses to ignore it. I know bevahe of this attitude I would not have gotten the job. But I still believe I shouldn’t have to deal with this. I’ve been shorted my hours, scheduled the worst shifts, but I work for a GREAT purpose and I adored my job before she came into command. I frankly work my butt off for these people and give them alot of my holidays and TONS of my weekends and I would appreciate a little respect. Please tell me if I’m losing my cool over nothing. #management #advice #coworkers # #workenvironment #stressful #interview

When I was a teenager I had four jobs. I repaired broken electronics or whatever people brought into the shop I operated with my grandfather. I stuffed envelopes, I tutored Hebrew, and I worked at a fast food place. I was a pretty skinny kid so free food was totes awesome.

About nine months after I started at the fast food place, we received an employee transfer from another store. His name was "Rick" and he was supposedly a "hot shot with lots of skill at putting out fires". As I grew to know him I assumed they meant he could extinguish grease fires. Apparently "hot shot" referred to his skill as a manager! Who knew??

Three weeks after he started, Rick approached me and said "You're on the spectrum? I didn't realize you were retarded. I would never assume you were retarded. You seem so normal." I explained to him that I was "high functioning" which generally means I don't have most of the manifestations you'd see with other Autistic folks.

Rick continued his rant, so I took the sprayer and sprayed him. I doused him good. He said "What's that for?" I responded "That's because you are an idiot and absolutely insensitive."

The owner/manager came in around that time and asked Rick why he was wet. I said, "Go on tell her Rick, tell her why I sprayed you." They walked back to her office. 15 minutes later Rick walked out of the door, jacket and final check in hand.

Rick totally forgot that the woman who owned this restaurant had two kids on the spectrum and she had ZERO tolerance for anyone denigrating or giving Autistic people a hard time. She was concerned I felt bad or that this would affect me long term. I told her I was fine, and that I thought her support was lovely.
She called my grandmother (I was raised by my grandparents) as we knew her from Temple. My grandmother asked me if I was ok. I said, "Gramma, I am fine. That guy is gone, and both you and the manager support me. I am golden".

Before I was diagnosed I never knew why I saw the world the way I did. I finally came to see my Autism as a superpower. I won't solve crimes or put out fires, or ever do anything heroic.. However, I think the people who know me and the people who employ me value my different perspective.

Thanks for reading my post. #management #coworkers #termination

I wish my job @ #Direct distributors Agri Supply Lumberton had...automatic doors a better cooling system and employees that cared about how the store looked

May really not want to know what is on my mind as far as my job I like it but I really feel like something that happened a few weeks ago should have been handled differently #coworkers #management
