I have been with Goodwill for 9 years. It has been a great experience for me. They help you find jobs to fit your skills. Just come to any location and fill out an application on their kiosks and someone from HR will get back with you.

Why did the previous holder of the position quit

Hi Jose! I know there is more than one Whole Foods here in the US, so while I'm unsure of the exact location here are some things you can do! First, check out their website. Locate the company’s mission there and how you fit into it. Do you like what you see? Second, check out some past company reviews from employees. You can do this easily on Glassdoor. It's important to determine company culture and do a little digging to see if that place of employment is right for YOU. You can read more about how to determine a company’s culture here! I hope this helps and I wish you the best with your job search : )

The people are great at Whole Foods. The company culture was better before Amazon took over. They still do nice things for employees, like team member appreciation week, but under Amazon it is more like a big business. We are staying open later on Holidays.

The possibility of moving up in the company, and the mir fact that Goodwill gave me my First Opportunities of employment.
Hi Olga I loved my job with Goodwill. It was never boring! One day you're sorting and hanging clothes, washing and pricing misc. stuff from jewelry to measuring spoons. People can be generous so you see a lot of interesting things. Running register is fun because you get to know the locals and meet a lot of new people. It's not a difficult job to learn so you settle in quickly and the benefits are great. The skills that I learned from working at Goodwill has helped me to land interviews for other jobs.
