Think how better the world would be if we practice this daily? Why not give it a try? All it takes is a little GRATITUDE + GENEROSITY = ABUNDANCE!

"The depths of my blessings are built of good people.
And the compassion of such friends is relentless. A foundation for a home is suited well in that place.
A place to hang you sorrows by the door.
A special place of warmth and understanding to rejuvenate a weary soul.
They act as tho they don't even know their power.
Withering my demons with a well-placed smile and a hug.
What expression of gratitude could accommodate such miracles?
Giants are my blessings who are ignorant of their sway.
Forming and empire within my heart
Peddlers of life with no charge for their wares.
Carving a refuge for the likes of me, wherever they might pass.
Thank you." #gratitude

I'm telling you the truth... (MUST READ)
It has been said that, life is like a mist that appears only for a little while and then disappears."
Each morning when I awaken, even before my feet "hit the floor" I always say two powerful words without fail: Thank you!
You know, after you consider many things and look in the faces of your children, spouse and other dear loved ones, you can find that highest mountain in the imagination of your MIND, then, sit down and say: _________ (Fill-in the blank.) Thank you!
Someone greater than you will always sense your "attitude of gratitude." Are you living a life of gratitude?
I Believe You Can...!

My children have never once doubted that they would be free to choose the life they wish to lead. To speak their minds. To pursue life, liberty, and happiness. This freedom was hard-fought and extracted a high price.
I am in awe of those who volunteered to answer the call to arms. I am appreciative of all who fought and humbled by those that made the ultimate sacrifice. I am profoundly saddened that the loss and sacrifice continue to be carried every day by their loved ones.
Thank you seems so insufficient, and yet those are the words that rise up. Thank you. Thank you for my freedom and my children's carefree expectation that this has always been so and will always be.
And lets all of us strive to do what we can to support their families in every way we can. Our veterans and their families don't just deserve this, they have earned it. And no-one more so than the loved ones who mourn the sacrifices of our fallen heroes every day. Lets not just commit to memorial day, but memorial year.
God bless you all.
God bless America.
and thank you. #veterans, #memorialDay #gratitude #humility

Who do you appreciate today? I have the ability to work from home today – something that a lot of people can't do. In fact, many folks are out there – doing exactly what they always do – where they need to be – and some are in pretty high-risk situations to get sick. If 9/11 taught me anything, it's that Americans know how to stick together in tough times. And no matter what you think of the craziness going on, I think we all can appreciate those that are making a difference for us.
So, here goes. Thank you:
to the conductors and drivers who are still running the trains I usually take
to the truck drivers, warehouse, and retail staff that still make sure the depleted shelves at my stores are filled up again
to my doctor and her staff – and medical workers everywhere – who I'm sure are overwhelmed by the current flood of concerned patients
to airlines and airport workers that are looking out for travelers - especially those I hold dear
to the teachers and school staff that have gone out of their way to help my kids recently
to the amazing custodial staff in my office building
to the friends that have reached out to check on me and my family
I could easily go on, but I'm thankful for these efforts. And I plan to share details when I can where people have gone the extra mile for myself and others.
Anyone else out there have someone who makes a difference to you?

Lately I've found a small habit that helps me feel better about my day and more productive overall. Every morning at work, I list out three things that I am thankful for, and three goals that I want to accomplish that day. I like doing this this way, because it gets me in a good headspace for the day and lets me focus on doing what's important without being overwhelmed. It's a good feeling when you see you accomplished all three goals, and even if you don't, you know you'll have another shot tomorrow. There are so many habits and techniques and methods you can adopt to be more productive, but I think there's value to finding what works for you and making it easy to maintain. Doing something easily and habitually rather than intensely only once in a while can sometimes pay off more in the long run. #motivation #habits #gratitude

Hey Jobcasers,
Today I'd like to talk about something that seems a little difficult in our search for the next best employment opportunity: Gratitude.
Gratitude is perhaps one of the most difficult things to muster up during a rigorous and harrowing experience such as unemployment, homelessness, and similar events, but I would argue that it is perhaps the most important thing to muster up--more than hope, more than tenacity, more than even the recognition of the temporal transience of our current turmoils. Why? Because Gratitude helps define our perspective; it helps us understand where we stand versus where we could be standing.
I'd like to take this opportunity to share with you a story of my own experience. About a year ago, I took a job working in sales for a company that I will not disclose.
This decision left me at risk of homelessness and I had cleaned out my pantry and cupboards with no real hope of replenishing them, because we were regularly sent into overworked territory that was saturated with sales reps for a product with no demand by the people in the general area (it was out of their price range and local alternatives offered higher quality for cheaper prices). I was going days without eating because I couldn't afford it (my bank account sat at around $7.00 and I didn't want to spend the last bits of my savings) and it was genuinely one of the worst periods of my life.
A lot of people would look back at this and say good riddance and for a time, that was my view too, but now that I look back at it--I'm incredibly grateful for the experience.
Why?
Because it exposed me to what happens when you work for a company that is truly unethical in its business practices (both internally and externally) and it taught me a lot about the kinds of things to be vigilant for when searching for employment opportunities. It also gave me appreciation for those who are doing everything they can and are unable to get their basic needs met, not through lack of sincere effort, but because of an unfortunate misstep along the way.
So, you might be wondering what this has to do with you and I want to share with you what I think we all could benefit from.
Make the sincere effort to find the good in the trials and tribulations you're currently facing, however big or small they may be, because there is always something to be learned from every experience and that something is important to becoming better tomorrow than we are today.
