Director Of Operations at E Blast Me

Hi @Kaye Dudley - are you a caregiver for your mom? If yes, there might be a program that will pay you (not a lot but...) to care for her - Check for In Home Health Services in your area.

Do check the job board - what kind of experience and skills do you have? What type of work are you looking for?

You can do both -

Hello, I have an MBA in Finance. I went to CSULB part time evenings, but have not used my finance degree specifically in my work. I can say there are many business type avenues; corporate finance, sole proprietor finance, finance for non-profit organizations (hospitals, museums, religious organizations, etc.). Then, there are many financial roles within each business type; stock portfolio manager, budget analyst, controller, capital budgeting analyst (how is property, plant, eqpt going to be funded?), etc. Make sure you understand the difference between finance and accounting degrees...If I could choose a finance job right now, it would be as an analyst, using statistics to do trend analysis, trending sales, profits, integrating how future property, plant, eqpt would be funded through cash and debt, means forming an analysis and presenting thru graphs, charts, long-term budgets. To me, finance has a more generalist flavor than accounting. Accounting relies on GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles), whereby every task transaction is guided by industry accepted principles. Finance is a little more general If you like that, you'll do well. best wishes.

I’ve worked in childcare for 10 years. I have moved my way up the ladder and I think it’s time for a change. As the current director of a child care facility, I have realized that I need to do something different with my life. I want to help people. I want to make a difference. I have many skills and I am willing to learn anything I need to start something new. ☺️ #jobsearch #advice #workfromhome #interview #education
