My great coworkers

When the new general manager took over at the hotel, he gave all the housekeepers and incentive to work towards to make things better for us housekeepers and to keep us at the job instead of quitting. Every Thursday when we had our meetings at 11:00 in the morning we would get a brunch. We also got bonuses at the end of the month for how great of a job we did with our rooms.

Corporative co-workers

I started this job last year and really loved my boss. Honestly the company is going through lots of changes and chaoses so I really stayed here because of my boss. He truly cared about our growth and supported us fully when we need improvements. He told us on Friday that he got a job and will move on by the end of the month. I was happy for him but devastated over the weekend not knowing about my own future... before I knew it I already started applying to new jobs. Why do great people have to leave their jobs :(

Boss friends even family

My colleagues push me to work harder and more efficiently. I have a wonderful time meeting new people despite being considered an introvert. The managers are amazing, empathic people and the sense of togetherness between staff is one reason I look forward coming into work.

I'm like the only single person on my team. Everyone is married and has kids. Whenever there's some overtime tasks or events, I always got "voluntold" (the exact opposite of volunteering lol) to take those tasks. I understand how hard it is to balance work and family but it's not really fair that I don't get to enjoy my personal time. How will I ever have time to actually build a family on my own?
